1921 – 2015

AUBURN — Annette F. Gosselin, 94, of Auburn, died peacefully on Saturday, April 11, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 7, 1921, the daughter of the late Albert and Maine (Bergeron) St. Marie. She was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School and the Acme Business College in Lewiston. On May 29, 1941, she married Louis E. Gosselin, a union that lasted 63 years. He died on July 25, 2004.

Annette retired from Maine State Department of Human Services in 1983. Then she and her husband wintered in Florida until 1994. She was a member of the Maine Association of Retirees. Her hobbies included knitting, crotcheting and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Gerard Gosselin and Ronald Gosselin; two granddaughters, Christina and Dawn Gosselin; two grandsons, Brian and Normand Gosselin; two sisters, Juliette Roberge and Pauline Dugal; two sisters-in- law, Jeannine and Gladys St. Marie; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Paul Gosselin, who died on Nov. 14, 2012; two sisters, Therese Bergeron and Germaine Roberge; and two brothers, Roland and Normand St. Marie.
