LISBON — The second and last public meeting for the municipal and school budgets has been postponed until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Lisbon Community School, the Town Council announced Monday.

The meeting was originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.

Although the Town Council was within the time frame to have the budget articles available to the public, it felt more time might be needed for townspeople to review the articles and request documentation, if needed, from the School Committee.

The postponement also gives the School Committee more time to provide the documentation and to make any changes to the budget as requested by several councilors at last week’s public meeting, Town Council Chairman Dillon Pesce said.
