PORTLAND — The Maine Technology Users Group invites IT professionals, managers and technology enthusiasts from all industries and sectors to the 28th Annual Information Technology Summit and Tradeshow. It will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland.
The MTUG IT Summit is Maine’s largest business technology conference with 15 educational sessions, 59 vendor booths, and ample time to explore a broad range of IT topics, products and services. Workshop tracks include Great IT Debates, IT Infrastructure, IT Workforce Development, Security, and Tech Sandbox with hands-on demos/robotics.
Keynote speaker Rear Adm. William Leigher, now advanced solutions director of intelligence, information and services at Raytheon Company, will present “Insecurity in a Connected Planet.”
Admission is $45 by May 7; $50 in advance; and $60 at the door. Fee includes workshops, trade show floor access, continental breakfast, buffet lunch, dessert and door prizes.
