WOODSTOCK – Fire crews from several towns were battling a structure fire Friday on Gore Road.

Firefighters were called at about 5 p.m. to a report of a home burning at 255 Gore Road, next to North Pond. Crews from Woodstock, Paris and Newry and other towns responded and remained on the scene an hour later.

Early reports were that there were no injuries.

Gore Road runs along the edge of the pond between Routes 26 and 232.

Some of the crews battling the blaze had been in Rumford earlier fighting a fire that engulfed a motel on Prospect Avenue.
