AUBURN — George MacKinnon has been promoted to assistant vice president-underwriting for personal and commercial lines carrier Patrons Oxford Insurance Company of Auburn.

MacKinnon has more than 20 years of insurance experience, and has earned the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Certified Insurance Counselor. He is the current president of the local Maine Chapter of CPCU.

He is a graduate of the University of Maine and earned his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
