SACO — State Police say one person died Thursday morning in a single vehicle crash on the Maine Turnpike in Saco.
According to a statement by spokesman Stephen McCausland, the car went off the northbound road at Mile 37 and came to rest in a group of trees.
Northbound traffic in the area has slowed, but is moving.
State Police say they located the driver of the BMW that troopers were looking for after this morning’s fatal crash on the turnpike has been located. The name of the man killed will likely be released this afternoon.
