Michelle Pardieu looks on as her daughters, Destiny Therrien and Itianah Pardieu, and her mother, cancer survivor Sandra LaVerdiere, make luminaries for the River Valley Relay For Life held from 4 p.m. on May 29 to 1 p.m. on May 30. The girls made luminaries for their grandfather, William Blanchard, while Sandra made one to honor her sister, Judy Blanchard. Luminaries, which surrounded the Hosmer Field track, are a symbol of hope, courage and remembrance.
