LEWISTON — The Central Maine Human Resources Association’s monthly breakfast meeting will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16 at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.
This program, for HR professionals and business owners, is open to all (as are all CMHRA meetings). The breakfast and meeting are free for CMHRA members.
Elizabeth Wyman, chief hearings officer at the Bureau of Unemployment Compensation, will discuss navigating the process of responding to unemployment claims filed by former employees. Wyman will discuss techniques and approaches that will improve performance during an unemployment appeal hearing.
There is time to network before and after the program, which is designed to provide guidance and resources for anyone dealing with employee issues. The program has been submitted for HRCI credits but is not pre-approved.
Membership to CMHRA is open to all for-profit, nonprofit, public and private organizations. Meetings are regularly attended by human resources managers, benefits administrators, health, wellness and safety managers, training and development professionals, supervisors, small business owners and other individuals interested in human resource issues.
Registration online is preferred and available at http://cmhra.shrm.org/events. Questions about membership should be directed to Michael Letourneau (of Androscoggin Bank) at [email protected].
