FARMINGTON — The Farmington Compost Cooperative is holding a compost sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at the composting site.

The site is on Dump Road, off Route 2 and near the Farmington Transfer Station and Farmington Recycling Center.

“It is a good product,” Town Manager Richard Davis recently said. “Some of it is food compost from the University of Maine at Farmington.”

Loading will be provided. For a tractor bucket, the cost is $12, or two buckets for $20, he said.
