LEWISTON — Northeast Charter & Tour Co. Inc. is now the owner of two 45-passenger white trolley cars, as well as a 21-passenger minibus, following its acquisition of the assets and operating rights to Rockland-based All Aboard Trolley & Limousine Co.

All Aboard Trolley was founded in 2004 and had been using the trackless trolleys for weddings, wine tours, charters and special events, according to its website.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to Mainebiz.

Scott Riccio, the president and owner of Northeast Charter & Tour Co., said in a prepared statement the new vehicles will allow Northeast Charter to provide “a whole new level of eco-friendliness” to its transportation options.

Northeast Charter & Tour Co. operates out of Lewiston, Lincolnville and southern Maine, and employs almost 100 employees.
