LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus recently received a grant of $1,750 from Subaru of America Inc. as part of the automaker’s Share the Love event.

The grant will specifically go to SeniorsPlus’ Meals on Wheels program, in conjunction with Meals on Wheels America’s 13th annual March for Meals program.

Subaru America donated $250 to the owner’s choice of participating charities for every new vehicle purchased or leased during its seventh annual Share the Love event, resulting in the $1,750 grant to the local Meals on Wheels program. The money will help SeniorsPlus reduce its waitlist for Meals on Wheels.
