RUMFORD — The Police Department responded to 156 calls between June 3 and 12. Unless otherwise noted, those arrested will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. July 13 in 11th District Court.
* At 5:58 p.m. June 11, a Rumford man was assaulted on Cumberland Street and taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital where he was treated and released. Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating.
* At 12:48 p.m. June 10, a Waldo Street resident reported the theft of a bicycle. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.
* At 2:47 p.m. June 9, Keith Broomhall, 47, of Rumford, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on charge of operating a snowmobile to endanger. Broomhall was released on $160 secured bail and will be arraigned at 1 p.m. July 13 in 11th District Court.
* At 9:29 a.m. June 9, Detective Peter Casey took a report that a Route 108 business had been burglarized and property taken. He is investigating.
* At 6:29 p.m. June 8, a Falmouth Street resident reported being assaulted on Waldo Street. Officer Matt Desroches responded, but the victim did not want to pursue charges, so the case was closed.
* At 2:31 a.m. June 7, Kersey Belgain, 54, of Auburn, was arrested on charge of operating under the influence on Route 108 in Rumford. He was released on $800 unsecured bail and will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 10 in 11th District Court.
*At 8:55 p.m. June 6, Derek Sicotte, 25, of Rumford, was arrested on charge of operating while license is suspended by officer Lawrence Briggs on Waldo Street. Sicotte was released on $600 unsecured bail.
* At 2:12 a.m. June 4, Jonathan True, 25, of Rumford, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and resisting arrest by officer Desroches on Rumford Avenue. True was released on $800 unsecured bail.
