OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at the Old Town House, Bell Hill Road. 

The program will be “Ethel Hirst and the Otisfield News, 1945 to 1949.”

The society invites the communtiy to share memories of Hirst and Otisfield and to learn more about the woman who published the town’s only newspaper.

Participants may also see the recent improvements to the facility, including new well, septic system and restroom.
