FARMINGTON — The compost sale held by the Farmington Compost Cooperative Saturday generated $857 in revenue — and moved about half the pile.

The cooperative will follow the first sale with a second “blowout” sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2. The cooperative is located on Dump Road near Farmington Transfer Station and Recycling Center.

This is good stuff, according to cooperative members, and loading is provided.

Cost is $12 per tractor bucket or $20 for two tractor buckets.
