AUBURN – Jeremy Gatcomb of Lewiston has been hired as general manager at the Ingersoll Turf Facility. He will begin Sept. 1.

Gatcomb received a degree in sports management from Daniel Webster College in 2006 and has more than 10 years of experience working in recreation and sports. It includes coordinating college intramurals and specializing in recreation. He has served as a camp-sports director for Kennebec Valley YMCA as well as general manager of the Portland Sports complex.

Gatcomb has been the recreation program leader for Auburn’s Recreation Department for nearly six years. The turf facility is expected to open this fall.
