NORTH JAY — Funeral services for Ruth Poland of North Jay were held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, July 4, from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant.

Sammy Angel played a medley of favorite hymns and sang “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art.” Gathered family and friends offered remembrances as part of the funeral service.

Private family burial followed at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Birchland Cemetery, Rte. 17, North Jay.
