SABATTUS — The annual picnic for the Sabattus Seniors is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, at Maxwell Gill Hall in Sabattus.

The meal will include a fruit tree, meat balls and many other food items, and activities will be bingo and pass-the-buck games. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, July 29, by calling 207-375-4037. Those who RSVP and don’t show will still be required to pay for missed meals.

The seniors are planning trips. Helen will be planning:

Sunday and Monday, Aug. 9 and 10, overnight trip to Foxwoods

Thursday, Aug. 20, Clambake restaurant in Old Orchard for lobster, haddock or chicken.

Other trips Helen is planning are to a theater and to Boston’s Quincy Market.
