LISBON — Police have identified a motorcyclist killed along Ridge Road on Friday night as Mark Ormsby, 57, of Westbrook.
In a written statement, Lisbon police Sgt. Harry Moore said Ormsby was riding his 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Ridge Road at about 6:30 p.m. when he ran off the road and into a utility pole.
Ormsby was not wearing a helmet and was declared dead at the scene, according to the statement.
Lisbon police were still investigating the accident and had not declared a cause.
Ridge Road was limited to one lane and was closed sporadically while the investigation was carried out.
