At 7 p.m., Friday, July 31, Ensemble Tremblay will give a free concert of classical music for chamber orchestra and soloists at the Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at Farmington, 111 South St.. The program will include Concerto for Oboe by J.S. Bach with internationally-reknowned soloist Gerard Reuter, Havanaise by Saint-Saens, performed by Grammy-nominated violinist Stan Renard, and Concerto for Flute and Piano by Felix Mendelssohn, with Phillip Silver, piano and Allison Kiger, flute (pictured). Conducted by David Rahbee. This performance is made possible by a generous grant from the Maine Community Foundation Franklin County Fund. More information at www.ensembletremblay.org
