The featured artisan of the month at Maine Foothills Artisan Co-op is Elise Jensen of South Paris. Jensen is a native of South Paris, graduating from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in 1998. Jensen lived in Bozeman, Mont., for a time where she developed skills and an interest in in bead weaving. Her work is often inspired by period jewelry. A sample of her work is on display at the co-op, 6 Western Ave., South Paris. Store hours are Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
