PARIS — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will be hosting free workshops, “The Essentials of College Planning,” for adults ages 19 and older.

The two workshops will be held beginning at 10 a.m. and last approximately 2-3 hours with the first one on Monday, Sept. 14, and the second on Monday, Sept. 28, at Western Maine University and Community College Center, 232 Main St. The workshops outline the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning and study skills. Preregistration is required.
