1955 – 2015

AUBURN — Gerard A. “Gerry” Pelletier, 60, died Tuesday, Sept. 8.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1955, to Fernand and Cecile Pelletier. Gerry grew up in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School.

In his 20s, he was an avid moto-cross rider, competing at events all over New England. He had great passion for dirt-biking, snowmobiling, music, good food and family.

Gerry worked in drywall most of his life, was extremely good at his trade and had an incredible work ethic. He was also an artist, often writing poetry and song lyrics.

Gerry touched many people’s lives with his sense of humor, warmth and generosity. He was larger than life and his personality and charm were infectious. He was fiercely loyal and protective of his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Bethany Geary; and granddaughter, Maryn Geary of Wells; brother, Bob Pelletier of Lewiston; sister, Nancy Leeman of Mechanic Falls; sister, Claire Poulin of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; sister, Sue Turcotte of Greene; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace…we’ll miss you, Joe!
