Mainely Improv “On the Spot Comedy” comes to the Franco Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston,  at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25. Tickets are $12. Troupe leader Dan Marois describes the group as a combination of  “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” with a Maine-based comedy troupe that loves the art of improvisation.  The troupe works entirely from audience suggestions. “Every show is different and we have no idea what will happen,” Marois said. He promises “an evening of fun, comedy, and the unexpected.” Tickets can be reserved by visiting or calling the Box Office at FrancoCenter.org or 207-783-1585.  Regular box office hours are noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
