PARIS — Police aked the public to help identify a woman they believe stole cash from a Responsible Pet Care donation box last week.
On the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 9, the woman took money from the nonprofit animal shelter’s donation box at Doe’s convenience store and gas station at 183 Park St., Paris Police Lt. Jeff Lange said in an email. He did not know how much money was taken.
Video cameras at the gas station captured images of the woman and her car. She was wearing a blue tank top with purple shorts and appears to have dirty blond or brown hair worn in a bun. The car is a dark-colored, four-door sedan.
Anyone with information should call the Paris Police Department at 743-7448.
