LEWISTON — USM Lewiston Auburn Senior College has added SeniorsPlus of Lewiston to its growing list of collaborations with other facilities geared to helping seniors and other community members have more opportunities to enrich their lives. Senior College will provide at least one class each semester at SeniorsPlus, located at 8 Falcon St.

Joie Crockett, an LA Senior College instructor, is offering “Discovering Watercolor” from 1 to 4 p.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 21, and meeting for eight weeks, ending Nov. 16. (There will be no class on Oct. 12.) The class is geared for students with no previous experience or for students who want to try a new medium. Students will learn to use watercolor paint with a background of drawing in pencil and pen.
