LISBON — A public hearing will be held at a special Town Council meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Town Hall on amendments proposed for the town’s charter.

Town Council members voted 5-0 last week to make changes to the charter to raise the amount the council is authorized to spend without going to a public referendum. 

The amendment changes will go before voters in November.
