On Sunday, Sept. 20, the Bethel United Methodist Church, 79 Main Street in Bethel, will host guest speaker Phil DuBois during the 9 a.m. worship service. Mr. Dubois is a Licensed Minister in the Advent Christian Organization. He is involved in a State-wide initiative to bridge gaps between DHHS and faith organizations for the purpose of caring for children in foster/adoptive care. Mr. Dubois is also the Maine state coordinator for “Orphan Sunday.” He will be speaking about his work from a Biblical background and sharing what the Lord is doing in the world around orphan ministry. All who wish to attend are welcome.
