NORWAY — The Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St., will begin its fall season with a First Friday Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2.
The gallery will display the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in Western Maine. The work of Pam Morra, October’s Artist of the Month, will be featured.
“Still-life painting allows me to control the time it takes me to finish the piece. I feel exceptionally proud of my tutors, Mike Ranucci, Koo Sadler and Michelle Dunaway, to name a few. My goal as an artist is to draw the viewer in with light, shadow, and color. Oil and colored pencil are my choices for mediums,” said Morra on her approach.
The public is invited to view the collection of original arts, mosaics, landscapes, figurative paintings, still-life paintings, jewelry and more.
During the winter season, the gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The gallery is free and open to the public.
