AUBURN — Ryan Lutreykowski recorded a pair of goals as St. Dom’s coasted to a 3-0 victory over Lisbon in boys’ soccer action Saturday.
Jacob Charest rounded out the scoring for the Saints (5-1-1). St. Dom’s outpaced the Greyhounds (5-3) in shots with a 17-8 advantage.
Austin Bedford provided some good defensive passing for Lisbon.
Goalie Gavin Bates made four saves to earn the win in net for St. Dom’s.
Lewiston 7, Mt. Ararat 0
LEWISTON — Abdi Shariff and Mohamed Abdisalan each scored a pair of goals as Lewiston dropped Mt. Ararat with a 7-0 win in a boys’ soccer game Saturday.
The Blue Devils (8-0) took a 4-0 lead in the first half. Mohamed Khalid, Noralddin Othman and Abdul Karim Abdulle each scored a goal.
Girls’ soccer
Waterville 6, Winslow 0
WATERVILLE — Fotini Shanos scored two goals and an assist as Waterville dispatched cross-town rival Winslow 6-0 in girls’ soccer action Saturday morning.
The Panthers (6-1-1) scored three goals in the first 12 minutes of play for a 3-0 halftime lead. Sophie Webb had a goal and an assist for Waterville.
Goalies Hillary Libby and Broghan Gagnon combined for 13 saves for the Black Raiders (5-1-2), while goalie Gabrielle Marin had five saves for the shutout.
Gray-NG 0, Kennebunk 0 (2OT)
GRAY — Gray-New Gloucester was strong on defense as the Patriots battled to a 0-0 draw with Kennebunk in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Rams (1-4-2) had more offensive opportunities, making 18 shots to the Patriots (3-3-1) six shots. Kennebunk also had an 11-2 advantage on corner kicks. Goalie Catherine Campbell made two saves for Kennebunk, while goalie Jen Sutherland had five stops for Gray-New Gloucester.

The Saints (7-0-1) overpowered the Greyhounds on offense, taking a 14-3 margin in shots on goal. St. Dom’s led 3-0 at the half.
Goalie Alexandra Sult made seven saves for Lisbon, while goalie Victoria Sasse prevented all three she faced to earn the win in net for St. Dom’s.
Monmouth 0, Mt. Abram 0 (OT)
SALEM — Monmouth and Mt. Abram struggled to a 0-0 overtime tie in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
Goalie Abby Brackley made seven saves on seven shots to keep the Roadrunners (1-4-2) from suffering another loss.
Goalie Mikayla Cameron only needed one save to keep the Mustangs (5-0-1) undefeated on the season.

Poland 2, Old Orchard Beach 0
OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Freshman Brianna Doucette scored an insurance goal with 25:08 remaining in the second half as Poland took a 2-0 decision from Old Orchard Beach in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
Poland dominated on offense, collecting 28 shots, while Old Orchard Beach failed to register a single one. Senior Carly King scored in the first half for the Knights (3-7).
Goalie Jenny Cobb made 24 saves for the Seagulls (1-10), while goalie Ashley Cloutier earned the win in net on an effortless day for Poland.
Gray-NG 3, Greely 2 (OT)
GRAY — Jenny Holmquist scored an overtime tally to lift Gray-New Gloucester to a 3-2 triumph over Greely in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
Skye Conley scored a goal and an assist, while Cara Waltz registered the remaining goal for the Patriots (6-5).
Mariah Wilcox and Kayla Barry provided the scoring for the Rangers (3-6).
Goalie Elizabeth Brown made 16 saves for Greely, while Adrianna Kimball turned away 10 to earn the win in net for Gray-New Gloucester.
St. Dom’s 4, Boothbay 3 (OT)
AUBURN — Hannah Trottier-Braun scored three goals, including the game-winner, as St. Dom’s edged Bootbhay 4-3 in overtime in field hockey action Saturday.
Kylie Leavitt contributed a goal and an assist for the Saints (6-3). St. Dom’s led 2-1 at the half.
Goalie Erica Eames made six saves for Boothbay, while goalie Abby Slonina repelled nine for St. Dom’s in the winning effort.
Women’s soccer
Bates 1, Wesleyan 1 (2OT)
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The Bates women’s soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Wesleyan University on Satuday.
Senior captain Leah Humes scored in the 15th minute to lift the Bobcats (3-1-2) to a 1-0 lead. Humes shot the ball under the crossbar after getting a long cross pass from first-year Olivia Amdur.
Sarah Sylla evened the game late in the first half, knocking in the rebound after Bates sophomore goalie Sarah McCarthy saved a header sent towards the Bates’ cage by Lauren Goetzman.
UMF 1, Maine Maritime 1 (2OT)
FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington stood toe-to-toe with Maine Maritime Academy with a 1-1 double overtime draw in NAC women’s soccer action Saturday.
Ashley Gleason put the Beavers (2-4-1) on the scoreboard late in the first half with her fourth goal of the season. Lillian LaRochelle provided the assist.
Maine Maritime (1-5-1) answered back two minutes into the second half when Susan DeFrank tallied the equalizer.

UMF 5, New England College 0
FARMINGTON — Mara Balboni tallied her first of two goals in the 19th minute as the University of Maine at Farmington grabbed their first conference win with a 5-0 shutout over New England College Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers (5-1) turned on the after-burners with four goals in the final period, including three in a five-minute span. Lee Anne Greenleaf, Sarita Crandall, Balboni and Jenessa Talarico recorded the unanswered goals.
Goalie Patty Smith recorded her fifth win of the season with a shutout and saved two shots.
Bates 3, Wesleyan 1
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Senior Shannon Beaton scored the game-tying and go-ahead goals for Bates College, propelling a 3-1 NESCAC victory at Wesleyan University on Saturday, the Bobcats’ first conference win of the year.
The Bobcats (3-2) also got an insurance goal from first-year Taylor Lough, her fourth goal of the week.
The win snapped a 14-game winless streak in conference games for the Bobcats, dating back to October 2013.
Senior goalie Cristina Vega had one save in net for Bates in the winning
effort.

Wesleyan 5, Bates 0
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Sophomore Adam Cowie-Haskell notched a hat trick, and the Cardinal offense unleashed 22 shots to help Wesleyan defeat Bates, 5-0, in NESCAC men’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The best chance for the Bobcats (4-1-1) came with just over five minutes left in the half on a shot by the leading scorer, seniro Luis Pereira.
A diving stop by Cardinal (4-2-0) junior goaltender Jack Katkavich sent the ball past the near goalpost.
Bates senior goalie Sam Polito went 78 minutes in goal with a busy 11 saves, including an acrobatic rescue midway through the first half.
BETHEL — Jonah Martin has been the leading receiver for Oak Hill football this season. Saturday, Martin showed he can get it done out of the backfield, too.
Martin rushed for three first-half touchdowns and the two-time defending Class D champion Raiders cruised to a 34-0 victory at Telstar.
Oak Hill (4-0) faces Winthrop/Monmouth and Lisbon the next two weeks in games that likely will determine the top seed in the regional playoffs.
Martin scored on runs of 10, 2 and 59 yards
Darryn Bailey also caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Dalton Therrien in the first half. Therrien completed 5 of 10 passes for 101 yards.
Danny Buteau capped the scoring with a 2-yard run in the third quarter. Even though the score did not eclipse the 35-point margin required to necessitate a running clock, it was used throughout the second half.
Cheverus 44, Edward Little 7
PORTLAND — Cheverus freshman Tre Fletcher rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the first half Saturday, leading the Stags to a 44-7 Class A North football win over Edward Little.
The Stags (3-1) led 30-0 at halftime.
