RUMFORD — Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services will host the improv comedy group Teachers Lounge Mafia at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Mountain Valley High School.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Teachers’ Lounge Mafia performs improv and interactive games similar to ones popularized on the television show “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?”
There will be raffle items and door prizes, and every ticket holder gets a free chance to win a door prize.
Advance tickets are $5; others are $7 at the door. Jeff Bailey of Teachers Lounge Mafia and a teacher at Mountain Valley High School will sell tickets. Other outlets are the Peru Community Center, 30 Main St. Peru; Rumford/Mexico college campus 13 Brown St., Mexico; and Davis Florist, 138 Congress St., Rumford.
There will be resources geared toward helping raise awareness of sexual abuse and violence.
Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services works to prevent and eliminate sexual violence and promote healing and empowerment for people of all genders and ages who are affected by rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, stalking and sexual harassment.
