I am writing in support of Tina Hutchinson for Lewiston School Committee from Ward 7. As her daughter, I can attest to her dedication to all students and doing what is best for them.

When my brother was in Head Start, she was a member of the policy council. She reached out to parents and staff to do what was best for the children. She does not make a decision without doing her research and getting the facts first.

When she started attending School Committee meetings this year, she did so because she was seeing problems and wanted to help. She doesn’t have answers to every problem, but she brings fresh ideas and can play the devil’s advocate for every situation. She will be a voice not only for Ward 7, but for all students, teachers and community members.

Tina Hutchinson will continue to stand by students before politics.
