AUBURN — Avery Lutrzykowski had a natural hat trick to lead the St. Dominic Academy Saints to the 4-0 victory over the Carrabec Cobras in girls’ MVC soccer action Monday afternoon.
Kristina Cornelio and Izzy Frenette each had an assist on Lutrzykowski second and third goals.
Cornelio was also credited with the game-winning goal for the Saints (11-1-1) as she opened up the scoring.
Victoria Sasse only needed to make one save for the clean sheet. The Saints fied 13 shots on Kelsie Creamer, who made seven saves for the Cobras (5-6-1).
Mountain Valley 2, Lisbon 0
RUMFORD — Abby Mazza and Grace Briggs each scored a goal in the second half, steering Mountain Valley (7-3-1) to a 2-0 victory over Lisbon (7-6) in a girls’ soccer game Monday.
Julia Sirois picked up an assist on the second goal and Mountain Valley goalie Karen Flaherty made 17 saves.
Lisbon outshot Mountain Valley, 24-21.
Field hockey
Lisbon 1, Oak Hill 0
WALES — Chase Collier took a Mallory Fairbanks feed with 6:50 left in the game and scored, giving Lisbon (5-9) a 1-0 victory over Oak Hill (9-5) in a field hockey game Monday.
The teams battled through a scoreless first half and Oak Hill outshot Lisbon 15-10. Raiders goalie Abby Fuller made 11 saves and her counterpart, Mikaylia Harden stopped 15.
