Efraín Fuentes and Silvia Gomez, a husband-and-wife team of folk artists from Oaxaca, Mexico, will demonstrate how they transform hunks of wood into whimsical, colorful animal sculptures from 4 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, 180 Center St. Auburn. The event is free and open to the public and is part of Margarita’s education outreach program created to share Mexican crafts, culture and traditions.
