RUMFORD — On Saturday, Oct.  24, the Rumford American Legion Post 24 will host a comedy night with Freddie Stone, featuring special guests Adam Hatch and Chuck Grover. The show, which is open to the public, begins at 8:30 p.m.;  doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the post for $15 a person. A portion of the ticket sales will support veterans programs. Food will be served from from 5 to 7 p.m.
