LEWISTON — The Good Food Council of Lewiston-Auburn will host its inaugural Central Maine Meet the Buyers event from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Franco Center on Cedar Street.

The event will bring farmers and food producers together with food buyers for institutions, restaurants and other wholesale buyers. The goal is to build relationships and deepen conversations about Farm to Institution strategies for Central Maine and beyond. In addition, facilitated introductions could foster local procurement relationships between attendees.

The event is free and food will be provided. Farmers and buyers in the greater Lewiston-Auburn area and Central Maine are encouraged to register and attend.
