New York City-based contemporary dance company, Brother(hood) Dance, returns to the Denmark Arts Center at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, for an evening of dance.  During this second creative residency with Denmark’s own Hio Ridge Dance, Orlando and Ricarrdo will develop the new works, Black Jones and Afro-Solo-Man, as well as teach and perform. In all aspects of their work, the dancers challenge assumptions, provoke rethinking, and demonstrate a fearlessness to tackle their own demons around issues of race, gender, sexuality and brotherhood. Tickets are a suggested donation of $10. Reservations can be made by calling 207-452-2412.
