Battle of the Blends
marking silver season

LEWISTON — The Maine Music Society kicks off its 25th anniversary season with the roof-raising Battle of the Blends XXII concert at the Franco Center in Lewiston at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7.

Six a cappella groups embody this year’s theme of “Making Music Soar” with their energetic vocal renditions of jazz, barbershop, pop, rock ‘n’ roll, and Renaissance music. Coming together to benefit MMS are: Good-Time Sound, The Crosstones, Talk to the Hand, Edward Little A Cappella Choir, The Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus and The Maine Music Society Chamber Singers.

General seating is $25; children under 12, $10 ($2 more at the door) and may be purchased at the MMS website https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?ticketing=mms, or by phone — with a major credit card — by calling the MMS box office at 207-782-7228. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets ordered over the phone may be picked up at the Franco Center, open one hour before curtain.
