Nature Club Founder’s Day Supper
OXFORD — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at the Congregational Church, 252 King St., for their Founder’s Day Potluck Supper, marking the 92nd year of the club’s founding and the 84th year of caring for Ordway Grove with the town of Norway.

Harvest Supper planned for Nov. 7
NEW GLOUCESTER — The Lunn-Hunnewell Amvets Post No. 6 Auxiliary will host their annual Harvest Supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the AMVETS Hall, Route 100.
The menu will include ham, potatoes, carrots, squash, turnip, cabbage, onions, rolls, coffee, tea, punch, and apple crisp.
The supper is $9 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 and kids 5 and younger eat free.
Proceeds will sponsor the Veterans Hospital projects.
Historical society plans sale
MINOT — The Minot Historical Society will hold a sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at its new home, 493 Center Minot Hill Road.
Items for sale will include clothing for all seasons, stuffed animals and toys.
Travelers to meet Nov. 7
MECHANIC FALLS — Twin City Council 160 of the United Commercial Travelers of America will meet at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Bucknam Oaks.
After the business meeting, a potluck supper will be served. All members and guests are welcome to attend.
First Saturday at Williams House
WAYNE — The next First Saturday at the Williams House will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 7.
The Williams House is located at 14 Old Winthrop Road.
Visitors can stop by for coffee or tea, quiche or a scone, visit with neighbors and shop at the ongoing book sale and boutique.
This month there are Maine books for sale from Scott Nearing, John Gould and Marshall Dodge, as well as on the histories of Livermore, Dresden and Sidney.
UMF hosting arts, crafts show
FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington will holds its annual Arts and Crafts Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the UMF Olsen Student Center on South Street.
Artists and crafters from across Maine, including many new artisans, will exhibit their original and creative works at this open-to-the-public sale. A
ll items are handcrafted by the artists and include: jewelry, baby items, quilted clothing and handbags, hand-painted items, fabric landscapes, baskets, hand-knitted items, doll clothes, wooden bowls, maple syrup, greeting cards, hand-sewn crafts, country crafts and wind chimes, baked goods, jams and jellies.

Community supper planned in Sumner
SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will hold a community casserole supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at 50 Main St., Route 219.
The supper will include breads, salads, dessert, coffee and punch, as well as a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds will benefit the outreach mission of the Church, which includes the local community, world missions and youth camp scholarships. Donations are accepted for the meal.
