SABATTUS — A 31-year-old Lewiston man was charged with operating after suspension and operating under the influence Thursday after rolling his 1998 BMW on Crowley Road.
At 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Timothy Packard was driving east on Crowley Road at a high rate of speed, according to police Chief Tony Ward. As he was cornering at the intersection with Grove Street, Packard oversteered the car and rolled it over.
Packard was ejected from the car and taken to a local hospital with what Ward called nonlife-threatening injuries.
Ward said Packard was issued summonses for operating after suspension and operating under the influence of alcohol. He has a previous OUI conviction.
There were no passengers in the car, which was towed from the scene.
