Old Man Luedecke, Canadian banjoist extraordinaire, will perform with Tim O’Brien on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Stone Mountain Arts Center, 695 Dugway Road, Brownfield. Old Man Luedecke just released his new album, Domestic Eccentric. Luedecke and multiple Grammy Award-winning O’Brien recorded the album in a cabin he built in the woods behind his house, a hand-hewn affair built from rough-sawn lumber. The record is mostly about home, what it means to still be a youngish man, what it’s like to still be in love with the woman you started writing songs about over a decade ago, what it’s like to watch your babies grow into children, and about the joys and sorrows attendant upon the milestones of parenthood.
