LEWISTON — Josephine A. Conte, D.O., has joined the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency faculty.
A graduate of the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Conte serves as a faculty member for the residency program, working with patients and resident physicians in all aspects of patient care.
During her time at the University of New England, she served as president and vice president of the National Osteopathic Women Physicians Association. She is a certified labor assistant, childbirth educator, and aromatherapist.
She completed residency training and a neuromuscular medicine fellowship at the Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency program in Augusta.
Conte has diverse health and wellness experience, including work as a personal trainer, a childbirth educator and wellness educator. She has also been an active community volunteer.
She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, American Board of Family Medicine and American Board of Integrated and Holistic Medicine.
