FARMINGTON — A Greene woman called police Tuesday to say she was involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier that day, Police Department secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said Thursday.

Christina Currier, 29, said she panicked and left the scene at Whittier Road and Routes 2 and 4, but after reading about the accident, she realized she needed to call police, Pomeroy said.

Currier was turning left from Whittier Road onto Routes 2 and 4 when her vehicle and a van driven north on Routes 2 and 4 by Conley Gould Sr., 78, of Madrid Township collided, according to police.

No one was hurt in the accident.
