RUMFORD — Funeral services for Karen F. Porter of Rumford were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Virgin Memorial Chapel of the Rumford United Methodist Church, 144 Linnel St., Rumford, with guest pastor David Kimball officiating.

Organist was Lynn Ramsey. Music selections included “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. Words of remembrance were offered by grandson, Aaron Sinclair; great-granddaughters, Taylor Nault and Kaylani Sinclair, who read the book “The Next Place That I Go”; granddaughter, Jami Blouin; cousin, Dawn Stanley; close friend, Barbara Kaulback, who also read the poem “My Best Friend”; friend, Marcie Bartlett; and cousin, Jolene Lent, who also read a poem.

Committal services were conducted by the Rev. David Kimball. Interment was in the family lot at the Hanover Cemetery, Hanover. A reception followed at Karen’s home in Rumford.
