Friday, Nov. 20, Greg Jamie and The Orchards will perform at Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston. Greg Jamie sings and writes for the projects O’Death and Blood Warrior and has released records recently through Northern Spy Records, Immune Recordings and Feeding Tube Records. The Orchards are the songwriting project of Pennsylvania-native Eric Schwan, now based in Portland,  and featuring a revolving cast of musicians from the area. Live performances showcase ramshackle orchestral folk sounds with simple, lyric and landscape-based songs.
