NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has announced events for December.

The Center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. The center is located at 199 Main St. The center has a library, pamphlets and comfort items. It schedules activities at the Center (unless otherwise noted), which are free to people impacted by cancer. 

Women’s Cancer Support Group: Noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. FMI: 207-744-6173.

Coloring for Adults: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays.

Stamping Up with Kathy: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.

Visual Journaling with Peter Herley: 10 a.m. to noon Fridays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18.

Community Cancer Cut & Sew at Sew Orchid Design:

10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, Dec. 9 and 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 316 Main St.

Penny Rug with Karen: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10. 

Beading Project at Lively Accents: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at 310 Main St.

Walk and Talk with David:  207-739-7027 to schedule a time.

In case of bad weather, activities are cancelled if SAD 17 cancels classes.
