LEWISTON — The Maine Music Society will continue celebrating its 25th anniversary season, “Making Music Soar,” with its annual Heritage Christmas concert at the Franco Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors, $10 for students and children 12 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult. Groups of 10 or more receive a 20 percent discount.
A Heritage Christmas performed by the Maine Music Society Chorale has become a Christmas tradition. This year, the Chorale will perform arrangements of Christmas music from the British Isles. They’ll also present the riotous Bob Chilcott and”The Twelve Days of Christmas” along with many other seasonal pieces, both familiar and new.
MMS will also hold a silent auction during intermission and before, during and after the concerts in Heritage Hall. Winning bids will be awarded on Sunday, Dec. 13.
