FARMINGTON — Police have charged a New Sharon woman with stealing a remote-control helicopter Wednesday from Aubuchon Hardware in Farmington.

Joanne Demarro, 50, was summoned Friday by Officer Michael Lyman for felony theft and for violating conditions of release stemming from another theft charge.

Police asked for the public’s help in identifying the woman, who was seen on store security footage. With the help of the public, Lyman and Officer Derrick Doucette were able to find the remote-control helicopter.
