LEWISTON — A vehicle struck a utility pole on Pond Road Saturday night, police said.

James Footer, 33, was driving a 1989 Chevrolet pickup truck when it crashed into trees and struck a telephone pole.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center for treatment.
