AUBURN — The School Committee will vote on a new Edward Little High School assistant principal when it meets Wednesday night.

Superintendent Katy Grondin is nominating Todd Sampson, a former Edward Little physical education teacher, to replace Assistant Principal Jim Horn. In January, Horn will become the high school’s aspirations specialist. Money for that new position will come from the amended budget voters passed last month, Grondin said.

The committee will also take up a student medical marijuana policy. There have been students and parents who have asked about students using marijuana for medical reasons.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Auburn Hall.
