AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Ginny Britten-Larock was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lariviere Saturday, Jan. 2, at St. Philip’s Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
During the Mass Ginny’s friend Richard Dubois proclaimed a reading from the Book of Wisdom of the Old Testament, and Ginny’s friend Estelle Bouchard proclaimed a reading from the First Letter of John from the New Testament. She also recited the Prayer of the Faithful in honor of Ginny. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by fellow parishioners and friends, Roger and Joyce St. Pierre.
At the conclusion of Mass all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship in the church hall.
The pallbearers were Rick Paul, Arch Burgess, Normand and Richard Comeau, William “Bim” Clifford and Jim Woodward.
Burial will be held in the family lot later in the week at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Syracuse, N.Y.
